These terms of use govern how the teriland.com site and its services are made available by Damien Thery, and set out the conditions under which the User may access and use those services.

They are available at any time on this page, under the Terms of use heading.

  1. Legal notices

    The teriland.com site is published and edited by Damien Thery.

    The teriland.com site is hosted by Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL, whose registered office is at 38 Avenue John F. Kennedy, L-1855 Luxembourg.

  2. Access to the site

    The teriland.com site gives the User free access to the following services:

    • the map of entertainment venues (theme parks, zoos, water parks, museums);
    • the directory of those venues, sorted by country and by category;
    • the articles published on the site.

    The site is accessible free of charge, anywhere, to any User with an internet connection. All costs the User incurs in order to reach the service (computer equipment, software, internet connection) are their own.

  3. Collection of data

    The site collects and processes personal information with respect for privacy, in accordance with French law no. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 on information technology, data files and civil liberties.

    Under that law, the User has a right to access, correct, delete and object to the processing of their personal data.

  4. Intellectual property

    The trademarks, logos and signs, as well as all content on the site (text, images, sound), are protected by the French Intellectual Property Code, and in particular by copyright.

    The User must obtain the site's prior authorisation for any reproduction, publication or copy of this content. The User undertakes to use the site's content in a strictly private setting; any use for commercial or advertising purposes is prohibited.

    Any reproduction of this site, in whole or in part, by any means whatsoever and without the express authorisation of the site's operator, constitutes an infringement punishable under article L335-2 and following of the French Intellectual Property Code.

    Under article L122-5 of the French Intellectual Property Code, a User who reproduces, copies or publishes protected content must cite the author and the source.

  5. Liability

    The sources of the information published on teriland.com are considered reliable, but the site does not guarantee that it is free of faults, errors or omissions.

    The information is given for general guidance and has no contractual value. Despite regular updates, teriland.com cannot be held liable for changes in administrative or legal provisions occurring after publication. Nor can the site be held liable for the use and interpretation of the information it contains.

    teriland.com cannot be held liable for any virus that might infect the User's computer or other equipment following use of, access to, or a download from this site.

    The site incurs no liability in the event of force majeure or of the unforeseeable and insurmountable act of a third party.

  6. Hypertext links

    The site may contain hypertext links. The User is informed that clicking such a link takes them out of teriland.com. The site has no control over the web pages these links lead to and is in no case responsible for their content.

  7. Cookies

    The User is informed that, during visits to the site, a cookie may be installed automatically on their browser.

    Cookies are small files stored temporarily on the hard drive of the User's computer by their browser, and needed to use the teriland.com site. Cookies hold no personal information and cannot be used to identify anyone: a cookie holds a unique identifier, randomly generated and therefore anonymous. Some cookies expire at the end of the User's visit, others remain.

    The information held in cookies is used to improve the teriland.com site.

    By browsing the site, the User accepts them. The User may disable these cookies through the settings of their browser.

  8. Governing law and competent courts

    French law applies to this agreement. Failing an amicable settlement of a dispute between the parties, the French courts alone have jurisdiction to hear it.
